There is a multicultural, professional and deeply personal outlook to this new solo project. Produced by award winning, fellow Brit, David Lawrie, CYVELLA embodies a palette of electronic sounds that do not fall into a specific genre. It is part rock, part punk, part atmospheric, part jazzy, part rock opera: much of the spectrum that is Marlain Angelides’ background as a professional performer. There is no separation between sound and persona.
